St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County Shelter and Community Charity: Organizing & Volunteering

Positivity Tribe has cultivated an on-going partnership over a number of years with the St. Vincent de Paul Community Center (SVDP) in Oakland to organize and provide volunteers. PT has committed to organize and provide at least 5 volunteers every 2nd Saturday to SVDP to volunteer in their “Food Assistance” program. Volunteers serve in multiple ways ranging from food preparation, meeting and socializing with the clients, and serving on the chow line. Project currently on pause and will reactivate soon.

 
 
 

Queens of the Future Scholarship Fund (QOTF)

Queens of the Future Scholarship Fund (QOTF) seeks to support female students who have not had the chance to engage in a post-secondary pursuit or education due to barriers (including but not limited to) experienced as a person of color, coming from a disenfranchised community, being a non-traditional learner or first-generation student.

 

Positivity Tribe partners with San Francisco Department of Public Health Puerto Rico Medical Relief Team

Positivity Tribe proudly partnered with SF Department of Public Health’s Puerto Rico Medical Relief Team to Provide disaster kits in 2018 for those impacted by the hurricane.

 
 
 

Oakland/ Alameda County: Wellness Kit Assembly & Distribution for the Unhoused

Positivity Tribe has committed to assembling and distributing 100 Wellness Kits every 3rd Saturday of the month to our unhoused neighbors in Oakland/Bay Area. These Wellness Kits are secured completely due to the generous donations from our volunteers and donors. These items include: socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, condoms, water bottle, granola bars, body wipes, feminine hygiene products with rain panchos and emergency blankets as seasonal items.

 
 
 

Recognition of Professional Contributions to the Cause of Human Rights and to the 70th Anniversary of the Human Rights Series

Positivity Tribe was humbled to be recognized by the United Nations Association of the The United States of America San Francisco Chapter.
